About Asher Conveying:

Asher Conveying is a family owned and operated business established in 2016.  Bill Asher saw the need for more conveyor trucks in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas and decided to make his dream of being a business owner a reality.   Bill and his wife Debbie started the company with one customer, two conveyor trucks, and two employees….Bill and one other driver.  Today, that one customer company has grown to 135+ customers, 9 conveyor trucks, 7 dump trucks, and 24 employees. 

We provide aggregate and hauling services to a wide range of customers including the homeowner that needs their gravel drive touched up to the commercial or residential home builder, concrete, or excavation company.   We sell topsoil, gravel, and stone of all sizes.   We also offer skid steer services and partner with an experienced excavator.

Bill Asher

Owner

Bill has been in the trucking industry since 1990.  He worked for his brother’s trucking company for 25 years.  Bill began his career driving then eventually took over dispatching.  He also worked on trucks.  After seeing the need for more conveyor trucks in Indianapolis, he made the decision to venture out on his own to start Asher Conveying in 2016.   When Bill’s not in the office or helping to work on trucks he likes to be out in the field checking jobs and staying in touch with customers.  He also loves jumping back in a truck to haul loads.

Debbie Asher

Owner

Debbie graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Communications.   Her background includes customer service, procurement and contract management.  She stepped out of corporate America in 2017 to join Bill full time in the daily operations of Asher Conveying.  Debbie handles most of the behind the scenes tasks of running the company.

Lori Akers

Office Administrator

Lori’s background includes 20+ years at Walmart Corp. where she began in store administration, purchasing, shipping and receiving.  She then moved to the home office working in the Real Estate Division in project management where she managed new store openings and remodels at a regional level.  Lori handles the daily paperwork from drivers, customer invoicing, quotes, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Andy Asher

Andy has been with Asher Conveying since 2017.  He started as a conveyor driver and moved into the role of Dispatcher in 2022.  He handles the daily communication with our customers and drivers.  He also provides quotes to customers and assists with determining their needs.   You’ll also see him on job sites making sure everything is running smoothly.

Andrew Prodan

Mechanic

Andrew has 12 years mechanic experience.  He sees to it that our trucks are maintained to ensure we have as little downtime as possible.
